Travel Pulse: Amadeus, United extend full content agreement into 2013
Amadeus extended its agreement with United Airlines into 2013, guaranteeing that the airline’s full range of content will be available for sale through the Amadeus system. The agreement upgrades the existing arrangement and also includes distribution of the carrier’s Economy Plus seating.

A team of Amadeus’ Boston-based IT engineers displayed their technological prowess by winning Tnooz THack, a travel tech challenge held by Tnooz.com.
THack is Tnooz’s unique 27-hour hacking event, which brings together travel industry application programming interfaces (APIs) and the development community to brainstorm and create new digital, Web and mobile travel products. Amadeus took top honors by using Amadeus’ own hotel API and others as well as Amadeus Master Pricer to create a NFL New England sports fans travel recommendations Web site.
